Subscriptions
Sell monthly or yearly subscriptions with automatic renewal — VIP ranks, cosmetic drops, content-creator perks.
Not shipped yet.Subscription billing isn't live at launch. This article describes how it'll work when it ships — track progress on the changelog. Today, only one-time purchases are supported.
What you'll be able to sell
Anything you'd normally sell as a one-time purchase, but on a recurring schedule:
- VIP ranks — perks expire at the end of each billing cycle unless renewed
- Monthly cosmetic drops — a new bundle delivered on every renewal
- Content-creator perks — Discord roles, exclusive channels, server access
How it'll work
You mark a package as a subscription and pick an interval (monthly, quarterly, or yearly). Stripe or PayPal handle the recurring charges. Each renewal creates a new order on your end and the deliverables fire as if it were a fresh purchase — so the same game commands, file downloads, or Discord roles you configured will run again on every renewal.
What customers will see
Subscribers manage their subscription from their account page on your storefront — they can cancel, update their payment method, and see their next renewal date.
Edge cases handled
- Failed payment retries — the payment gateway retries failed charges automatically. Past-due subscriptions show clearly in your dashboard.
- Past-due notifications — the customer gets an automated email with a link to update their payment method before the subscription lapses.
- Cancellation grace period — when a customer cancels, the subscription stays active and deliveries keep running until the end of the current billing period. They aren't cut off mid-month.
